We were at Anson 11 for Easter Brunch. When I called to confirm the reservation I was told that we would be seated upstairs, but when we got there I was told that there were no tables available upstairs. So much for making reservations when walk-ins are given your table.
We’ve not been able to visit Anson 11 for over a year due to Covid. It was so nice to return and enjoy the excellent food! Our waitperson, Paulina, took great care of us!
The ambiance is great, however, the food was expensive and nothing spectacular.
One of the best fine dining establishments I have been too and we travel a lot for work. Server was exceptional when it came to service, we got a 5 course meal and each meal was described as it came out. So much food, worth the price. We will definitely be back!!

Everything this was okay. The only thing I did not like is where we were sat. We were sat at a small table for two in-between two other larger tables, we felt a little uncomfortable and squished. Other than that everything was okay. For making reservations I figured we would be seated at a booth or at a larger more sturdier table.
The only reason I didn’t go e it a 5 is because I went for lunch had an amazing salad so I decided to go again fue dinner and order the same salad, which this time the chicken was dry and not enough dressing. Service is okay, they are doing the best they can with a few employees
Went to Anson11 for a dinner date with my significant other, the staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING in helping me make it a special night for the both of us! I had planned on “making it official” during dinner, once we had finished our food we got to share a delicious dessert that came with the words “Will you be my girlfriend?”. Needless to say, that I left that place completely satisfied & with a gf lol. I loved this place & we will definitely be going back.

Nice affordable place with good service
I set a reservation for a birthday 🎂 we waited for a birthday dessert and nothing ( we got the 5 course dinner and let me tell you that we at least wanted our dessert to make the night and dinner special for our birthday celebration)
Sea bass and salmon were great entrees. Had a glass of Pappy Van Winkle bourbon from the bar. Smooth!

Amazing atmosphere - we had outdoor seating so we had an immaculate view of San Jacinto Plaza and multiple downtown buildings. Ambience inside the restaurant itself was very high end and definitely a place for a nice dinner.
Always something with this place. Eating in the fine dinning area hasn’t worked the last four times. So over this damn place
I was being overcharged for a wine bottle that is advertised different online to their menu at the restaurant. Need to fix this issue. Probably not the first to have a problem like this. Don’t get the chicken Alfredo from there if you love Olive Garden because trust me you’re going to send the dish back and wish you would of gone to Olive Garden.
Bistro setting was nice, hostess initially brought us to a table between two large parties, we had to request a more quiet, socially distanced table. Service was great, appreciate the suggestions. Drinks were wonderful (specially cocktail), beer selection is slim. Ordered polenta with mushrooms and meatloaf, both delicious and would gladly order again.

Service was slow due to kitchen delays. Server was efficient and friendly. Order received was incorrect however addressed and staff showing care. The breakfast pizza was terrible and returned. Eggs Benedict good as always. I received a message from open table that I would not receive points for this visit after I left??
5 Stars to Leslie our server. She's a consummate professional who knows off the top of her head. Make sure you ask to be seated in her area.

0.5 Stars to the rest of the Kitchen. Inedible main course is f Sea Bass and Filet Mignon.
I still recommend you go here. I'm sure they'll fix that kitchen.

Trying to visit locally owned restaurants during the pandemic so we made a reservation at Anson 11. The reservation was confirmed 4 times - once on Open Table, once via text and twice with phone calls. Overkill maybe but I get it, during Covid the restaurant wants to make people show up for their reservation. The table an ambiance was great, but unfortunately our waitress and food was average at best. Disappointing for a fine dining establishment. In the past couple months we've been to Ambar, Cafe Central and Taft Diaz. Unfortunately, Anson 11 doesn't compare to these other fine dining restaurants.

It was nice! One party in the dining area was a bit loud and annoying, but we overlooked them and enjoyed our evening. Our waitress was a delight and the food was excellent! Validation of parking is definitely appreciated! Great Job all around!
Excellent top class food. Great quantity and and finish, which is to be expected for the price. The value is absolutely there. Between 30-50 per entree and 9-14 for a side. Drinks are reasonably priced, unique and tasty and the whole meal left us full and very happy, even after the check.
