About La Buena Barra - Polanco

La Buena Barra - Polanco Ratings and Reviews
I went for a travel to México City, with my friends from Argentina and Spain. We enjoy all the night with the amazing service and the excellent food. The captain was so nice when we asked to change our table to the outdoor dining. We were really thankful because they made a magnificient dinner for all my group of friends

The front staff cares nothing about customers, but this place is so popular right now that it matters nothing to management. We were kept waiting nearly 90 minutes past our 9:15 open table reservation. Hostesses shrugged. No one apologized. Music is punishingly loud and since half the restaurant is on an open terrace, smoking is allowed and smokers are plentiful. Have to say the food is great - everything we tried was delicious - but the smoke, noise, uncaring attitude and high prices mean no way we'd return here. There are too many far better restaurants in the neighborhood and in DF to put up with this place.
Rude hosts; great food
They don't respect your petitions like being sat on the sat on the smoking section. The steak on the hymalayan salt board is fantastic and so is all the food.
Food is really good and the ambience could not be better. Would definetely come back.
Incredibly pricey for the quality of its food
I don't think I would come back to this place. It's food is regular, as it is its service but their prices are totally outside of any proportion
Good but pricey
Food is good, he soft shell crab taco is definitely the best item on the menu. Complex yet delicious. Having the steaks warm on a block of salt is nice looking and gives the meat a nice taste to it. It gets crowded during the weekends and host staff is not the most polite in town, they are more like pretty ladies on a podium that know nothing about customer service. Had to repeat my name at least 4 times so she could get it right, even though it was written on the computer screen. Other than that, food is great but pricey for what you get.
